UNIT OVERVIEW
Graphs are visual ways to show relationships between numbers. You see them everywhere: temperature charts, growth graphs, maps with coordinates.
Example: You save R50 each week. A graph lets you see your savings grow, predict future savings, and understand the pattern at a glance.
In this unit, you will learn:
- What the Cartesian plane is and how to use it
- How to plot points using coordinates
- What linear graphs look like and how they behave
- How to find -intercepts and -intercepts
- What gradient (slope) means and how to calculate it
- How to draw graphs from equations
- How to find equations from graphs
Graphs turn numbers into pictures. Pictures are often easier to understand than tables of numbers.
