UNIT OVERVIEW
The Trial Examinations are your main practice opportunity before the final NSC Mathematics examinations. Think of this as a full dress rehearsal—a chance to test your skills, find your strengths, and fix weak areas while you still have time.
Over the past three terms, you have built a strong mathematical toolkit. You have worked with sequences and series, functions and inverses, financial mathematics, Euclidean geometry, statistics, and probability. Now you bring it all together.
In this revision unit, you will:
- Review and consolidate all Grade 12 topics from Terms 1 to 3
- Practise integrating knowledge across different mathematical areas
- Develop examination strategies and time management skills
- Work through questions that mirror the final NSC examinations
- Identify common errors and learn how to avoid them
- Build confidence through structured practice
